"Long live the walls we crashed through, I had the time of my life, with you" -Long live, Taylor Swift
HEY KEYBEES!! My name's Annie and I am so proud to be one of this term's media directors again! I'm so excited to make new memories with Key Club (and show them to you all in the newsletters)💙💛 A little bit about me is that I have an obsession: TAYLOR SWIFT. The only music I ever listen to is Taylor Swift, and occasionally something stupid from the my little pony soundtracks... As for my list of Taylor Swift merch: I own two vinyls (YES QUYNH I CAN SPELL VINYLS NOW), a CD (that I got from a secret santa in Key Club), a magazine, two sweaters, 3 tote bags, and 100 stickers that everywhere! Aside from being a swiftie, my life consists of 3 things. First, art: I love drawing and I've been taking art lessons since I was 6-- almost 8 years ago! I applied for this position because I knew it would involve a lot of me getting into my artsy side! Second, badminton! I'm on the 22-23 team and definitely looking forward to coming back next season 😈 . Finally, KEY CLUB!!! Key Club has been such a HUGE part of my life recently, and I have made so many friends and memories, and just genuinely is the best thing ever. (I also play violin, ride horses, and own a guitar but don't play it..) I'm so thrilled to be a part of this year's board and I can't wait to make new memories with you guys 💞 (ps guys, I don't know how tall Chaochi is, but I'm definitely taller☺️) |
A Key Club story:Let me tell ya'll a story about when I first joined PIEDMONT HILLS KEY CLUB. It was a hot summer day, and when I heard that Key Club was offering free PIZZA and lemonade, so I immediately trudged through the dry, cracked dirt of Sophmore Hill to head over to where I saw a crowd gathering up. Upon discovering it was just a presentation where they discussed the "4 CORE VALUES" or whatever that was, I almost left... But, I stayed and listened and discovered that these so-called values are literally the coolest thing ever! So I ended up joining Key Club, made friends with some guy named Stanley Lew who had a HEDGEHOG WIFE (really weird ikr??), and became an officer. And that my friends, is how I came to volunteer in my free time instead of becoming a couch POTATO. Thank you. |
